Febreze is a major brand of odor-eliminating products made and sold worldwide by the leading global consumer goods producer Procter & Gamble (P&G). Febreze entered the Japan market in 1998. Rather than masking unpleasant odors with strong scents, these products eliminate odors at their source. They can be used to refresh fabric items, in particular large soft furnishings like curtains, sofas, and mattresses that are difficult to wash, and spraying to remove odors has become a new established way to clean. The product range leads the air care category in Japan.

Licensing opportunities using the Febreze trademark are available. Licensed products developed up to now include washing machine cleaner, bleach, interior items (curtains, carpets), pet goods, nursing care items, and shoe care products.
