POLAROID

Edwin H. Land, a Harvard University student, left his studies to develop applications of polarizing light filters, which he then patented. In 1937, he established the Polaroid Corporation in the US. After being asked by his daughter why she couldn’t instantly see the photo he had taken of her, he developed an instant camera, which began being sold in 1948. Following this, Polaroid continued to grow and in 2017 celebrated its 80th anniversary.

Licensing opportunities are available, including for the world renowned logo and the iconic images of the historical Polaroid camera.
