Maisy is the star of the long-running series of children’s picture books by acclaimed English children’s author and illustrator Lucy Cousins. These books chronicle the adventures – from the day-to-day to the fantastical – of Maisy the mouse and her friends Cyril the squirrel, Tallulah the chick, Charley the crocodile, and Eddie the elephant.
The picture book series, translated and published in many different languages, continue to be loved by readers young and old all around the world. Adapted for an animated series, this has also received an excellent response in Japan where it has been broadcast on NHK Educational and Cartoon Network.
