Donna Gorman joined Marimekko in 1982 and over the next 24 years learned all about the design business. Although she left the company in 1992 to be a freelance designer, she remained a design consultant with Marimekko until 2008 when she set up her own brand, see design.
Majoring in photojournalism in university, Donna now travels the world with her camera, capturing images that inspire her designs. Her use of bold patterns and vivid colors are uplifting and refreshing.
